Polyethylene foam (also called PE foam for short) is one of our most colourful foams and is available in many colours.

PE foam is a very fine-pored foam material that has an almost velvety surface. That has led to PE foam often being used when an appealing presentation is desired, for example as a packaging container, case liner, or as a presentation surface for jewellery, watches or promotional pens.

The hardness or strength of PE foam materials is defined by the so-called volumetric weight. You receive PE foam with a volumetric weight of 30 kg/m³ (soft) to 170 kg/m³ (very firm). A volumetric weight of 45 kg/m³ to 110 kg/m³ is generally used for most applications.

PE foam also has good damping and insulating properties.
